Alias is a publishing company based in San Diego, California that is dedicated to bringing the world of comics to the world beyond the comic aquarium. Sure, as comic fans, we all love comics, it goes without saying. But there is a world of non-comic fans out there that would enjoy comics if they only knew they existed. And we don’t just mean in a ‘oh, there are comics, but they’re just for kids’ way. Although we do think that comics should reach as wide an audience as possible, comics are not ‘just for kids’. But rather in a, ‘I didn’t know there were *that* kind of comics’, way.

Be it fantasy, all-ages, horror, sci-fi, action-adventure, western, etc. and yes, even superheroes, we intend to cover every genre out there to reach as many readers as possible. How do we achieve this? By partnering with multiple studios and individual creators who have a heart for each of their own particular genres. Each studio or individual creator has dedicated their time and resources toward producing the best comics for their genre, and the end result is a publishing company with a diversity that will be unmatched in the comic world.

If you are a comic fan, and you have friends who are not, but they like movies or books of a certain genre, hopefully you will find something at Alias that you can share with them. Comics is a word-of-mouth business, and hopefully with the right words coming out of the right mouths, we will be able to bring new readers into the comic aquarium.
